Joel Mora is a Queen’s native born and raised in Bayside, New York. He grew up wanting to play the drums before he knew how to talk or walk. His mother recounts that he would pick up forks and spoons and bang them like drumsticks. Joels always had a fascination with drums and creating rhythms. When Joel was in the 6th grade he would create beats on the table using a quarter and the palm of his hands. It was in the 6th grade that the name JBeats was born. Throughout JBeats’ professional career he has been able to master different styles of music from techno, hip-hop, pop, R&B, reggae, Latin, jazz and his versatility continues to grow. JBeats’ sensual Latin background allows him to feel the music and bring life to any party. JBeats has performed at all of NYC’s biggest nightclubs and was a resident at the biggest spring break parties in Mexico. JBeats is currently performing in the tri-state area for different crowds at private parties and continues to rock the hottest nightlife in NYC. JBeats’ determination and dedication to his craft is what has brought and continues to bring the best performances, energy and ambiance you will ever experience.
